While we’ve been afforded so many blessings in life, we truly believe that we have a higher purpose: to give back. We could have easily given money to already-established causes, but it wouldn’t have given us the community interaction we desire.
With this philosophy in mind, we created Golden Wishes as a means of providing hope to seniors in our communities, setting out to establish a charity like no other. We consider Golden Wishes an honest-to-goodness, well-intentioned, non-profit organization based on the idea that charity is supposed to support the community of people who are in need and that helps people directly.
Seniors, individuals of the “Golden Years” — down-to-earth, real people — helped us build our business and our livelihood. It is those people, often Floridians who are in need, who form the basis of all we do. That’s why we formed our charity to support any individual in need and provide them with a touch of hope.
Golden Wishes is about:
- Giving to those in need
- Spreading happiness, joy, and hope to seniors
- Granting seniors with experiences
- Surprising a senior who never thought their dream would come true
What does that look like? We may help a single, widowed grandfather who can’t afford Christmas gifts for his grandchildren, a veteran may go to a baseball game with their family and/or our Golden Wishes staff, an elderly neighbor may receive money for rent, a grandmother takes her grandchildren to Disney World. Helping individuals like this directly — handing them assistance with our own two hands — is our passion. No red tape, no hurdles, no middlemen.
We believe in people, and we believe that a touch of support is sometimes all you need.
We believe in providing Golden Wishes to seniors in our community who paved the way for us.
